Janne recently attended the Joint Parasitology Spring Meeting, hosted by the German Society for Parasitology (DGP), the British Society for Parasitology (BSP), and the Swiss Society for Tropical Medicine and Parasitology (SSTMP), held in Würzburg, Germany. There, she presented her research on the role of long non-coding RNAs in Plasmodium falciparum gametocytogenesis.
