Rosita (left) and Katie (right) traveled to the UK to attend the Genomic Epidemiology of Malaria Conference 2024 (GEM) near Cambridge. Both presented their research in the poster session and gave a short teaser talk.

Janne, Franck and David attended the Molecular Parasitology meeting (MPM) in beautiful Woods Hole in September. It was a full week of great talks, poster sessions, keynote speeches, the hatting ceremony and networking opportunities. The mixer on Wednesday evening at Captian Kidd was unforgettable and lots of fun. Janne had the opportunity to present her project in a talk. Franck presented a poster and gave a short teaser talk. He won an honorable mention poster award. Congratulations! Thanks to the organizers of the last three years of MPM and we are looking forward to the new organizers next year.
